The Elizabeth City Brewing LLC is a small scale craft beer microbrewery that will be located in Elizabeth City, North Carolina winter of 2008. The brewery will occupy 2500 square feet of Address to be determines. This is a new business in the start-up phase. By definition, a microbrewer is one that brews less than 20,000 barrels (630,000 US Gallons) per year. The Elizabeth City Brewery LCC plans to start production at 1200 barrels per year and plans phased expansion growth to 3000 barrels over a six year period. 

What We Do

Initial plans are to produce one product that shall be an amber-style light pale ale. This beer will be sold in kegs and bottles to local retailers and distributors for resale to the Elizabeth City and surrounding area draught beer markets. In-house sales of beer as well as take-out sales are also planned. Tours and sampling will be offered.  A second product is planned once the market has accepted the initial ale offering. This second product will likely be a lager beer. Specialty and seasonal brews will also be crafted once the business is up and running. These types of beers sell quickly and are usually quite popular. In addition, specialty "house" beers will be brewed and labeled for local taverns.

The long-term goal of the Elizabeth City Brewing LLC is to transition from a small scale microbrewery to a full Brewery establishment following the initial six year period.  A detailed business plan will be developed at a later date to explain the transition.
